These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are entered into between you ("you" or "user") and Home Service Bookkeeping LLC, doing business as Home Service Takeoff ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, digital products, courses, memberships, group platforms, and downloadable materials, whether accessed via our website or through a third-party provider.

By accessing our website, enrolling in any course, purchasing digital materials, or participating in any of our online communities, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other guidelines, rules, or disclaimers posted. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our website, courses, products, or any related services.

All services provided through this website are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By accessing or using any part of our website or offerings, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

• Disputes will be handled privately.
  By enrolling in this course, you agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration instead of court. You also waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
  
• Governing Law.
  These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, United States. Any arbitration will be held in Boise, Idaho, United States.
  

Refund & Cancellation Policy

• 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
  Complete at least 3 lessons. If you don’t see the value within 7 days of purchase, you can request a full refund by contacting us in writing.
  
• After 7 Days
  All sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or transfers will be granted after the 7-day window. There are no exceptions.
  
• Refund = No More Access
  If a refund is approved, your login will be deactivated and you must delete all downloaded materials.
  
• Single-User Only
  Your access cannot be transferred or shared.
  

Payment Plans

We offer payment plans through third-party providers (such as Klarna). These companies handle all payment approvals, billing, and collections. We do not manage those payments directly.

Important: Dropping the course or failing to complete it does not cancel your payment obligation. You are still responsible for making all scheduled payments per your agreement with the third-party provider.

Course Access & Updates

• Access Period
  Your purchase includes 18 months of access.
  
• Extend Access
  After 18 months, you’ll have the option to retain access and receive future updates for a yearly fee.
  
• Content May Change
  We reserve the right to update, change, or remove any part of the course, platform, or supporting communities at any time.
  

Participation & Conduct

• Be Kind & Professional
  Any harassment, hate speech, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate removal with no refund.
  
• Not for Bookkeeping Firms
  This course is for internal business use only. You may not promote your use of this course as part of a paid service or resell what you learn.
  
• You Are Still Responsible
  If your team members or third-party bookkeepers use this course, we are not responsible for the quality or accuracy of their work.
  
• Rule Violations = Removal
  Breaking these rules can result in loss of course access without refund.
  

Public Groups & Messaging Platforms

We reserve the right to moderate, restrict, or terminate access to any public or private group hosted by us. These communities are intended to be supportive, professional spaces for growth and learning.

• Group Moderation and Harassment Policy
  We may, at our sole discretion, choose to monitor and moderate activity in our groups and messaging platforms. However, we are under no obligation to do so. Any behavior that we deem to be inappropriate, offensive, harmful, discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive may result in immediate removal without warning or refund. This includes private messages, comments, posts, and any conduct within the group space.
  

We may host private or public communities for students. Your participation in any community is subject to the same expectations as the course itself.

• Group Behavior
  Be respectful, helpful, and professional. Disruptive, abusive, or promotional behavior is not allowed.
  
• No Unauthorized Promotion
  You may not promote your own services or solicit clients in the community unless explicitly permitted.
  
• Confidentiality
  Treat what others share in group discussions as confidential. Do not quote, share, or repost without permission.
  
• We Reserve the Right to Remove
  We may remove users from groups or restrict access for any reason without warning or refund.
  

Intellectual Property

• One License Per Person
  Your purchase is for one user only. No sharing or group licenses allowed.
  
• No Copying or Reuse
  You may not reproduce, sell, re-teach, or reuse any part of this course.
  
• PDFs Are Fine
  You may save PDFs for internal use in your business.
  
• No Recording Allowed
  Screen recording or copying any video or audio is prohibited.
  
• Templates and Downloads
  Any downloadable content, including templates, checklists, or guides, may be used for internal business use only. You may not resell, distribute, repackage, or teach from these materials.
  
• Submissions and Feedback
  By submitting feedback, suggestions, or any content to us (including in groups), you grant us permission to use and reproduce it for our business purposes without compensation.

Website & Platform Terms

• Entire Agreement
  These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, disclaimers, and any other legal notices published by us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Home Service Bookkeeping LLC dba Home Service Takeoff. They supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us with respect to the website, course materials, and services. No oral representations or statements shall be binding upon us.
  
• Severability
  If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
  
• Email Consent
  By providing your email address through our website or any course enrollment, you consent to receive communications from us, including service-related notices, updates, marketing messages, and promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Please note that unsubscribing from marketing emails does not opt you out of transactional or account-related messages necessary for the provision of our services
  
• Force Majeure
  We are not liable or responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet or service outages, strikes, labor shortages, pandemics, civil disturbances, war, governmental restrictions, or any other event outside our control. In the event of such delays or failures, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as possible.
  
• We May Restrict or Suspend Access
  We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue access to the course platform or any related services at any time, with or without notice, and for any reason including technical issues, user misconduct, or at our sole discretion. We are not required to disclose the reason for termination or suspension and are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from such actions.

• Account Security
  You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Sharing your account will result in removal from the course.
  
• No Warranty
  We do not guarantee that the website or course platform will be available without interruption or error. Use is at your own risk.
  

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Home Service Bookkeeping LLC dba Home Service Takeoff, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of any of our services, content, or platforms; (b) your breach of these Terms or any applicable law; (c) any content you submit, post, or transmit through our services; or (d) any infringement or misappropriation of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights. You agree to cooperate fully in the defense of any such claim. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you will not settle any such claim without our prior written consent.

Live Lesson Agreement: Group & Individual Sessions

Before participating in any group or individual video session offered through this course, you must agree to the following terms:

Scheduling & Attendance

• All sessions are scheduled in advance and may not be changed once booked.
  
• If you do not attend a scheduled session for any reason, the session will not be rescheduled, refunded, or credited.
  
• You are responsible for managing your own calendar and showing up on time.
  

Recording is Strictly Prohibited

• You may not record, screen capture, or otherwise save any part of a group or private session.
  
• This includes video, audio, chat, or screen shares.
  
• Violating this policy will result in immediate removal from all future sessions and may lead to removal from the course without refund.
  

Confidentiality Required

• Everything discussed in live lessons is confidential.
  
• You may not share, quote, summarize, or repeat anything shared by other participants, publicly or privately.
  
• You may not use stories, questions, or examples from these calls in your own content, client work, or training materials.
  

By checking the box, using the site, or attending the session, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. These conditions exist to protect your privacy, the privacy of others, and the integrity of the course.
